About ICAO/International Civil Aviation Organizition:

ICAO coordination of national economic and legal obligations on civil aviation, and to develop technical standards for civil aviation and navigation rules of international organizations. Purposes and objectives of ICAO:

According to the provisions of Article 44 of the Chicago Convention; the purposes and objectives of ICAO are the following:
• (l) ensure the safety of international civil aviation throughout the world, the orderly development;
• (2) to encourage the peaceful use of aircraft design and operation of arts;
• (3) to encourage the application of international civil aviation routes, airports and air navigation facilities;
• (4) to meet the people of the world for safe, regular, efficient and economical air transport needs; prevent unfair competition caused by economic waste;
• (5) ensure that the rights are fully respected States, each State Party has engaged in international air transport companies a fair chance;
• (6) to avoid discrimination between the States Parties;
• (7) to promote flight safety of international navigation.
 
ICAO's activities:

ICAO's main activities are: through the development of "International Convention on Civil Aviation," the 18 technical business accessories and a variety of technical documents and the convening of technical meetings, and gradually a unified international civil aviation standards and management of technical operations of the work of international route system.
